I would love to see you at the annual Fulbright Association conference in October as I present a roundtable discussion on bridging cultures through action! Take a look at my proposal below!

Drawing on experiences from the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms program and an educational exchange in Uruguay, this roundtable explores how educators can transform global learning into meaningful student action. Participants will discuss strategies for connecting international perspectives with local challenges through inquiry, cultural exchange, and community engagement. Examples from classroom implementation will highlight how students investigated issues aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, examined diverse perspectives, and developed solutions to challenges within their own communities. Through collaborative discussion, attendees will share ideas and leave with practical approaches for fostering global competence, strengthening intercultural understanding, and empowering students to become active changemakers in an increasingly interconnected world.
