Asia Society Global Competence Matrix This resource is really helpful to learn about what the four domains of global competence are. what I like about this one is that they take it a step further and provide Can-Do Statements as well.
OECD Big Picture Thinking: This is a very in-depth explaination of what Global Learning is with real examples across content areas. To narrow your focus, I suggest focusing on Section 6 as it speaks directly to educating the whole child and sample projects for each content area.
Power of Place One important thing to note when it comes to Global Learning is that you do not have to leave the classroom to bring in outside perspectices. The "Power of Place" will help you understand the concept of "Glocal" and give you some ideas on how to create those learning opportunities in your classroom.
UN Sustainable Development Goals While this resource will not explain the underpinnings of global learning - it does aid in showing us what issues are currently beign researched in the area of global competency and can be an easy connector of implementing the fourth pillar of global learning (taking action) into the classroom.
